Mt. Kang-Yatse is located in the Markha Valley which is in the Ladakh region. Mt. Kang Yatse 2 elevation 6250m is quite a popular peak after Stok Kangri. The Kang Yatse 2 difficulty to summit is quite technical but it is achievable. It is a beautiful peak which goes through a marvelous Marka valley. Kang Yatse 2 best time to visit is in Summer (July August). Before you start your expedition we recommend doing some short trek in Ladakh. Markha valley trek is the usual way of getting there, as it provides a good acclimatization.  You can add KangYatse 1 to your itinerary.

Phyang to Hunder Trek 7 Night / 8 Days

The trek is rated as moderate trek. The main challenge lies in its high altitude, especially the ascent to Lasermo La Pass at 5,400 meters. The pass often has snow, adding to the difficulty. Proper acclimatization in Leh (2-3 days) is crucial, as the trek involves steep climbs and long walking hours. Trekkers should have a good preparation. Lasermo trek is bit difficult day. Once you cross the pass the valley is beautiful will quench you tiredness.

Marhka trek is one of the most popular treks in Ladakh and is very picturesque and full of adventure. It starts from moderate altitude to high altitude.
