Day by Day Itinerary
Arrival in Leh (3,500m)
Meet our local team at Leh Airport and transfer to your hotel. Relax, hydrate and begin acclimatization before the evening expedition briefing.
Acclimatization & Leh Sightseeing
Explore Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa and nearby monasteries while your body adjusts to the altitude.
Drive to Hamurja • Trek to Sara
Drive through the Indus Valley before beginning your trek into Hemis National Park and the beautiful Markha Valley.
Trek to Umlung Village
Cross rivers, & small charming Ladakhi villages before arriving at the picturesque village of Umlung.
Trek to Thachungtse
Ascend gradually through Markha valley and rocky terrain to Thachungtse Base where the high altitude meadows.
Trek to Base Camp
Begin with gradually ascend. You will cross some small lakes on the way to Base Camp.
Load Ferry at camp 1 & Trainning
Carrying a portion of our expedition equipment and supplies. After depositing the gear at Camp 1, we will descend back to Base Camp.
Move to Camp 1
Today we will ascend to Summit 1, carrying the remaining personal and technical gear. Upon arrival, we will settle into camp.
Move to Camp 2 / summit camp
Today we will move to Summit Camp, carrying the necessary technical gear. We will settle into summit camp, have an early dinner, and rest in preparation for the summit attempt the following day. .
Summit day KangYatse 1 (6,400m)
We will begin our ascent in the early hours, aiming to reach the summit of KangYatse 1. After enjoying the summit and taking in the panoramic Himalayan views, we will descend carefully.
Back to Leh vs Kongmaru la (5,200m)
Today we have a Kongmaru-La pass which is another summit for you. This hike is about 15 km from the basecamp and walking through a beautiful valley. You'll end up at Chokdo village which is our trekking end point, drive back to Leh city.
Contingency • Reserve day
Reserve day for the bad weather and unconditional circumstances. .
