Day by Day Itinerary
Arrival in Leh (3,500m)
Meet our local team at Leh Airport and transfer to your hotel. Relax, hydrate and begin acclimatization before the evening expedition briefing.
Acclimatization & Leh Sightseeing
Explore Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa and nearby monasteries while your body adjusts to the altitude.
Drive to Hamurja • Trek to Sara
Drive through the Indus Valley before beginning your trek into Hemis National Park and the beautiful Markha Valley.
Sara to Umlung Village
Cross rivers, & small charming Ladakhi villages before arriving at the picturesque village of Umlung.
Trek to Thachungtse
Ascend gradually through Markha valley and rocky terrain to Thachungtse Base where the high altitude meadows.
Thachungtse to Base Camp
Begin with gradually ascend. You will cross some small lakes on the way to Base Camp.
Summit Kang Yatse II (6240m)
Prepration day for the Summit and briefing introduction of the expedition equipments .
Summit Kang Yatse II (6240m)
Slowly push for the Summit and Enjoy the breathtaking views of Himalaya from the top, then walk back to Base Camp safely
Back to Leh va Kongmaru la (5200m)
The trek is not over. The day will be quite long as it has a 5200m pass to cross known as Kongmurala to get back to Leh .
Depature Day
A car will drop you at the Airport.
Contingency • Reserve day
Reserve day for the bad weather and unconditional circumstances. .
