Day by Day Itinerary
Arrival in Leh (3,500m)
Meet our local team at Leh Airport and transfer to your hotel. Relax, hydrate and begin acclimatization before the evening expedition briefing.
Acclimatization & Leh Sightseeing
Explore Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa and nearby monasteries while your body adjusts to the altitude.
Drive to Hunder Village
Drive through Khardung La Pass (5,359 m), once known as the world’s highest motorable road. Spend the night in the beautiful village of Hunder for the better acclimatization.
Drive to Wachen
Drive to Wachen and set up camp there. After lunch, take a walk to beautiful Hunder Dok.
Trek to Base Camp
Start slowly walk to Palzom Peo valley, gradually walk and reach Base Camp of the Dawa & Samgyal Peak.
Load ferry & Acclimatization
Begin with gradually ascend. You will get to plain asend to a high Base Camp. Dump the load and decend back to Base Camp.
Shift to High Base
Get settle at the high Base Camp and prepare fro the summit.
Summit Dawa (5,814m)
Slowly push for the Summit and Enjoy the breathtaking views of Himalaya from the top, then walk back to High Camp safely
Recover for Second summit
Recover your body for the second summit and drink plenty of fluids to stay well hydrated.
Second Summits Day
Start early as the way to Samgyal is bit long. Walk through the glacier and the end a climbing to the Summit.
Trek to Wachen & Leh
Start early from Base Camp to Wachen. Drive back to Leh by Khardong La.
Depature
A car will drop you to the Airport.
Contingency • Reserve day
Reserve day for the bad weather and unconditional circumstances. .
